I think if it was a 90 minute movie I would’ve enjoyed it more, but instead I spent over 500 minutes wondering what all the hype was about. Hey friends It’s been a hot minute, but I finally, finally, finally finished a book I’ve been in a bit of a slump recently, and this week was absolutely insane, so I downloaded a new audiobook and tore through it definitely the best decision. The writing was a bit sloppy, I didn’t care for the main character Frances and it was way longer than it should have been. I even caught myself checking the time to see if it was almost over. In fact, the only time I was unable to stop listening was towards the end because I honestly just wanted to get it over with so I start something else. Maybe my expectations were too high, because it never grabbed me and I found myself taking many breaks from it. I went into this blind because of the amazing reviews it had received and felt that I couldn’t be disappointed. So, I will not rate this higher than a 3 and I feel like I’m being generous with a 3. I simply felt no attachment to it at all, it wasn’t a great book, It was just ok. I did not find this relatable, and not because I haven’t gone through the things the characters deal with because I have. I found a few that seemed to agree with some opinions I had, but still rated it a 4 out of 5 because of how relatable it was for them. So, clearly my opinion is not a very popular one. It was just ok.įirst off, I want to say that I’m big on checking out reviews for books after I read them and I could only find 1 that agreed with me. This would have been easy to correct.Didn’t hate it, didn’t love it. This is unforgivable and the reason the hotel is scoring so low. I had to call my bank to get this reserved. I called twice, emailed three times and was completely ignored. It's been nearly two weeks and they still have a reservation on my credit card. I reserved the stay on my card, when I checked out I paid my final Bill.

The biggest issue by far was the hotels admin. the labelling on the milk was on the base they stood on, people had swapped these about meaning they were all wrong, labelling should be on the jug itself. Despite the staff member confirming twice what I wanted to me it was still wrong. They brought me the wrong breakfast twice in a row, before the staff finally got it right, they also didn't seem very apologetic and the staff member was huffing when I pointed out their error the second time, they did apologise when they brought the correct breakfast finally though. The breakfast options were good, the quality of the hot food was terrible, tinned sausages for example. Not sure I also liked the shower without a door to the bedroom so no showering in private, adding a second privacy door would have benefited the room. Location was great, as was the rooftop pool, shame the bar is closed. The Glass door to the shower would not close and the air conditioning wouldn't work initially requiring a rest by staff member.

the room was lovely, not sure how much I liked all the mirrors in the toilet. I stayed here with a Superior room on the 5th of July. The initial response was a simple now which really surprised me I’m disappointed me I would be willing to pay the difference of whatever the night stay would be however you are being so inflexible and so non-responsive I have now got no choice but to try and reach out via this method surely somebody can take a pragmatic view here? More Show less Given the pandemic and given my loyalty of staying with you for many years I was hoping that you might offer me some flexibility by simply moving the date forward by one day. Why should I keep making all the effort when I’ve already sent you numerous messages via numerous platforms. Again message you on Facebook messenger and you asked that I call you. I did exactly as you asked and this was over seven days ago and I’m yet to receive a response. I attempted to contact you via but received no reply so I attempted to contact you via Facebook messenger which you did provide a quick response asking that I email you directly. Unfortunately my flights were cancelled but I was able to rebook meaning that my two nights day needed to be pushed forward by just one day. I am due to stay at your hotel in early August.
